Most animal species are good at recognizing patterns, just as humans. The Coyote pack must have been noticing the size and timing of the dog pack getting out in early morning hours for several days. It could have been just the territorial skirmish. Alas, some coyotes got hit!

Swasthika in Sanskrit is symbol of good health. Leaving this aside, I must say there is an admiration for the evil of the 20th century out of ignorance of carnage that was unleashed by him. There was also an Indian movie named after the guy in one of the regional languages. Just plain stupid!

Indeed! It is just a common sense approach over a crane. It is rather easy to build a ramp, either through stones or by excavating one end of it, rather than trying aerial feats. It could have cost more for reclaiming the pool but the poor animal could have been saved.

It is an eye opening for a lot of humans in the concrete jungle, who have lost touch with nature for generations. There is a lot more in the nature than the synthetic creations of one specie.
